My Hive-Diary 🍉A Day in the Life🌹🌹Exploring the Friday Market

in Hive Diary3 months ago (edited)

Today is a very blessed day. Today is Friday and I ate the Sahari of the month of Ramadan early in the morning and fasted. After fasting, I recited the Holy Quran and offered the Fajr prayer. Today is the sixth fast of the month of Ramadan and today is the Friday festival. So after finishing my work and school duty, I offered the Friday prayer and then I went to the Friday market. I went to the Friday market with my younger nephew because he wanted to buy some small chicken chicks. So the first thing we bought was for iftar and I bought mint. After the mint, I bought oranges, bananas and apples. After buying these things, I went with my nephew to buy chicks. These chicks are small chicken babies that are about three to four weeks old. But when we went to the Friday market, there were no chicken babies there, but there was a person selling two to three week old chicks there. He had a chick. We bought two chicks because my nephew was very keen to buy chicks and get them. After buying the chicks, we bought more iftar items and more kitchen items. I bought vegetables such as cabbage, cucumber, tomato, onion and potatoes because it is the month of Ramadan. Tomatoes, onions and potatoes are used a lot. We also make pakodas from potatoes every day and various other spicy dishes are also made. So, after buying things from the Friday market, I returned home.

When we entered the Friday Bazaar area, I saw that many people were buying goods for Iftar. Somewhere, there was an argument between the customer and the shopkeeper over prices. Dag wanted to give a lower price, but the shopkeeper was asking for a higher price. Some goods were expensive because the shopkeepers know that in the month of Ramadan, everyone buys fruits, meat, vegetables and fruits for Iftar and takes them with them. So the shopkeepers were looting and everything, including fruits and vegetables, was very expensive. While the government had set the rates at cheap prices, the shopkeepers were not selling anything at the government price, but were charging the asking price. Here, I will also say that the government has a weakness and a weakness that the shopkeepers were not selling goods at the rates set by the government and the price difference was about 50 times. Thus, the poor and the poor class people were very worried about how they would buy fruits, vegetables and other items for Iftar, but there were some shopkeepers who were They were selling cheaply and I pray for them that they were doing good for humanity. Thus, I kept wandering around the Friday market and inspecting the different sections to see at what prices the items were being sold.

If we talk about the rates of vegetables, last Friday the vegetables were very cheap. Two kilos of tomatoes were being sold for Rs 100, but today one kilo of tomatoes was being sold for Rs 100. Last Friday, a dozen of bananas were being sold for Rs 150, but today a dozen was being sold for Rs 250. Oranges were being sold for Rs 500 a dozen, while last Friday they were being sold for Rs 300 a dozen. The fact that inflation has become so high is a question mark for the government at the time because hoarders and shopkeepers are earning illegal profits and robbing the poor. It is the duty of the government at the time to constantly inspect cheap markets and the administration should be responsible for ensuring that everything is being sold at the government rate. Today, through this article, I want to draw the attention of the government at the time to the fact that steps should be taken so that the consumables that are mostly used in the month of Ramadan are sold cheaply in cheap markets so that every individual can buy these items and To be able to buy fasting supplies and feed their children and families good food during the month of Ramadan, and it is also the duty of the government of the day to provide all kinds of facilities to its people in every way. In cheap markets, there should be a check and balance, especially in cheap markets, so that any shopkeeper who earns illegal profits or sells consumer goods at higher prices should be prosecuted so that the public can breathe a sigh of relief and everyone can buy consumer goods during the month of Ramadan.

When I went to the vegetable section, I saw that a mountain vegetable, which is also a war vegetable, was lying in large quantities. But this mountain vegetable, which we call Chong in our language, is very delicious to eat, but its taste is bitter, just like bitter gourd, but its taste is completely different from bitter gourd. Because bitter gourd is a bitter vegetable, but this vegetable, which is a mountain vegetable, has a very unique taste. Its price was 1200 rupees per kg, and this was a very high price because last Friday when I went to buy this same Chong from the cheap market, at that time the price was 800 rupees per kg and today there was an increase of 400 rupees per kg, which is very cruel and this is the blue of the government at that time. But I like this Chonk vegetable very much because it eliminates many diseases and is also very good for health, so I bought half a kilo so that I can cook it and eat it. This Chonk vegetable is a very rare vegetable that is found in the mountains. It grows, but this vegetable is not growing in the mountains of our area at the moment because this vegetable starts growing in the summer season and then stays until the end of summer. But this was Chonk that came from Balochistan province. The shopkeeper told me, so you can see Chonk in the pictures.

The melon crop is ready but the melon is not ready in our area yet. This melon is coming from Sindh this morning and its size is very small but this melon breed has come to be sold in the markets of our area for the first time. I am eating this melon with great enthusiasm. It is very sweet and its price is also very reasonable. In this way, everyone can eat melon at least. Apart from this, there were watermelons in some shops but watermelons are very expensive because this watermelon crop is imported from abroad. But watermelons from abroad are very expensive and the price of a watermelon is 2 thousand Pakistani rupees whereas if in our own area when the watermelon crop is ready, a watermelon is sold for 500 rupees. Thus, there is a big difference between 2 thousand rupees and 500 rupees. So I did not buy watermelon because if I do not buy watermelon, it will not make any difference but I have made a place for watermelon and We bought oranges so that we can eat oranges and bananas, while watermelon is not good for health yet because it is out of season and out of season fruits are also harmful to health.

We know that there is always a stall selling used items in the cheap market, so I went to the stall selling used items. There were shoes, clothes, children's school bags and other accessories, including mobile accessories, computer accessories and electrical equipment. In addition, there was a flashlight. But I planned to buy a flashlight but didn't buy it because I didn't know whether it was the right one or not. The shopkeeper said that there was no guarantee that this flashlight would work or not. So I thought that there was no need to spend money when the shopkeeper himself didn't know whether this used flashlight would work or not. Because if it didn't work, I would lose money. And if it did, I would benefit. But it would be a surprise and there is no guarantee. Then I saw the children's school bags. Since the children's exams were taking place and the results would come after the exams, the children After the results, I will go to new classes and buy a new bag, so I did not buy a new bag because it was very expensive, but I intend that when the Sasta Bazaar is opened after the month of Ramadan, I will also buy school bags for the children, shoes for them, and other items that the children will need for school from the Sasta Bazaar. In this way, I kept wandering around every corner of the Sasta Bazaar and spent my fasting by wandering around, and in this way I also got to know different situations. In this way, many people bring many things to the Sasta Bazaar to sell. Now people bring everything to the Sasta Bazaar so that they can sell their things.

Cheap markets are organized all over the world and I have seen that cheap markets are organized in every country so that the middle class there can buy goods. Similarly, cheap markets are organized in Pakistan every day of the week. The Friday market is organized in our area and on Sundays, the cheap market is organized in Mianwali city. On Wednesdays, the cheap market is organized in Dodkhel. On Thursdays, the cheap market is organized in Bin Hafiz Ji's city. In this way, the government organizes cheap markets in some area every day so that people can sell cheap goods. But today, the Friday market was organized, cheap goods were not available anywhere in this market and the government should keep a close eye on this matter so that people can get goods cheaply.
