I am new to this community and wanted to subscribe to it because my great-great-mother was Bulgarian and I have a huge admiration, respect and love for this country.

I was there several times last summer while staying about 6km far from Durankulak. In Krapets I went to the tent areas last year.
I've discovered Cybelle's temple, the archeological place and so much more.
I might volunteer for the birds at Durankulak this year if my health gets better
Ah, one of my favorite corners of the country, Durankulak and Krapets. Been there, photographed some birds years ago.
I just hope that my health gets better so I can travel
I'd also love to see Varna and Balchik at Queen Maria's place...Maybe we can meet, some of us here, this summer in one of these locations, @manoldonchev , @cryptospa !

Perhaps. The place I used to go a lot was Tiulenovo, somewhere between Krapets and Balchik. I've posted a few travel posts some time ago:

Thank you for the links! The pictures are amazing! @manoldonchev manoldonchev I went to search the rocky area in Tiulenovo last summer, but only reached a restaurant and some railways for fishermen ships. I was so disappointed I couldn't find the place.
Ah, the largest stone arch is just a couple of minutes to the south of that fishermen's harbor. The rest, the climbing routes are out of the village, a few kilometers to the North. I've seen dolphins on an early morning while I was standing near those rails by the way.
