El nudo Van Wijk || The Van Wijk knot
Greetings to the entire @hiveredcarpet community! It's a pleasure for me to bring you another video about tie knots. This one seems to have a Dutch name, but I'm not sure. And it's pure coincidence that the color of the tie is orange, precisely, because that's the color of that country's national soccer team jersey. If it were up to me, I would call it something different, something that looks like a cartoon from a few decades ago. In the video I tell you about it and you'll see if you remember it (get your ID ready). But the fact is that this knot is called Van Wijk.
I consider it simple and discreet. I once had to prepare it for a groom just a few hours before his wedding. He was happy the whole evening with this knot that he had not worn before. As I tried to show on my cover, I have been using it for a few years now and it is one of the ones I like the most. I can use it with three turns, which is the original, and with two turns, as a slight variation. Thanks to @threespeak for hosting the video.
¡Saludos a toda la comunidad de @hiveredcarpet! Para mí es un gusto traerle otro video sobre nudos de corbata. Éste parece tener un nombre neerlandés, pero no estoy seguro. Y es pura coincidencia que el color de la corbata es naranja, precisamente, porque es ese el color de la camiseta de la selección de futbol de ese país. Si fuera por mí, lo llamaría de una forma diferente, que se parezca a una caricatura de hace unas décadas atrás. En el video te lo cuento y verás si te acuerdas de ella (prepara tu documento de identidad). Pero el hecho es que este nudo lleva por nombre Van Wijk
Lo considero sencillo y discreto. En una oportunidad tuve que prepararlo para un novio apenas unas horas antes de su boda. Estuvo contento toda la velada con este nudo que no había usado antes. Tal como intenté mostrar en mi portada, llevo algunos años usándolo y es uno de los que más me gusta. Puedo usarlo con tres vueltas, que es la original, y con dos vueltas, como pequeña variación.
