¡Feliz ombligo de semana!
Hay prendas con gran valor emocional, representan mucho para quienes somos. Y en mi caso, esta sesión de fotos lo fue, se nota un antes y un después. Hoy quise re-imaginar y re-visitar unas fotos que marcaron un cambio, pues empecé a aceptarme más, y ahora tienen otro valor para mí.
La idea de volver a visitar estas fotos nace de que mi chico me dijo que el rojo me quedaba muy bien, viendo una foto vieja de mí usando esa camiseta, y pensé: "sería una genial idea darles un nuevo sentido a esta sesión". La primera vez, fue un dedo medio a todo el concepto del closet, de permanecer discreto, eran fotos con un arcoíris de fondo (total casualidad), con una camisa levemente abierta que dejaba ver un lado más liberal y seguro de mí.
Ahora no le temo a este tipo de fotografías, y tomar esta prenda y ver que me quedaba igual de bien, se sintió lindo. He cambiado, mi cuerpo también, ya no estoy tan delgado como antes, pero puedo usar la camisa abierta con mucha más seguridad.

Acompañé el outfit con un pantalón negro, aunque menos deportivo en esta oportunidad, y mi beanie, tal cual como en aquellas fotos. Re-imaginé el concepto usando lentes oscuros sobre el gorrito, algunas otras cadenas y una pulsera que lo acompañaba todo.
Espero que puedan disfrutar mis fotos, en serio me divertí haciéndolas y trayendo este concepto nuevo. ¿Saben que amaría? Verles compartir sus outfits antiguos o esa prenda que tenga muchos años con ustedes pero que sientan que no la pueden desechar. Happy belly button week!
There are garments with great emotional value, they represent a lot for who we are. And in my case, this photoshoot was, you can see a before and after. Today I wanted to re-imagine and re-visit some photos that marked a change, because I began to accept myself more, and now they have another value for me.
The idea of re-visiting these photos was born from my boyfriend telling me that red looked great on me, seeing an old photo of me wearing that shirt, and I thought: "it would be a great idea to give them a new meaning to this session". The first time, it was a middle finger to the whole closet concept of staying discreet, it was photos with a rainbow background (total coincidence), with a slightly open shirt that showed a more liberal and confident side of me.
Now I'm not afraid of this kind of pictures, and taking this garment and seeing that it fit me just as well, felt nice. I've changed, my body has changed too, I'm not as thin as I used to be, but I can wear the shirt open with much more confidence.

I paired the outfit with black pants, although less sporty this time, and my beanie, just like in those photos. I re-imagined the concept using dark glasses over the beanie, some other chains and a bracelet to go with it all.
