What’s up! I hope you are well. Today I come to show you my new acquisition: this beautiful turquoise blouse.
The turquoise color is one of my favorites, whatever its variation, bright, opaque, in transparency, whatever its presentation that color I love and always catches my attention. Although I have always been fascinated by this color, the truth is that I have not dedicated myself to buy clothes that have this color, I think I will have at most one or two turquoise pieces in my closet, so receiving this blouse as a gift made my heart glad.
This cute blouse came to me thanks to my mom, who sent me as a surprise gift several SHEIN items. Usually my mom and I have very different tastes when it comes to fashion, but over time she has been understanding little by little what my style is. I must say that this time she got it right with the articles she chose, I really liked this blouse for several reasons: its particular color and easy to combine, the wide V cut, and the crossed design in the front that I think is so beautiful.
I decided to wear this piece for my most recent presentation at Makinacrea, where I performed in concert with Jorge Andrés. I chose it for this concert because I knew that Jorge, the singer and leader of the band, was going to wear a gray shirt with beige formal pants, and I thought that this turquoise tone fit perfectly with the color palette he would use.
On the other hand, the aesthetic that Jorge wanted to reflect was something "nerdy and geeky", so I wanted to give a formal touch to the outfit by adding a black blazer to match the pants.
Last but not least, I used the makeup as an accent element, putting a very bright turquoise tone on my lower eyelid, to highlight this color, and contrast it with the orange on my upper eyelid, creating the very popular "teal & orange" look on my eyes.
That night I received many compliments on my makeup, which was quite a different style than what I usually wear on a daily basis. Several friends insisted that I keep experimenting with makeup in this way as it looks pretty and original, and that feedback has motivated me to keep learning about makeup and use it as a form of expression and element of differentiation.
Anyway, that night the show was fun, I felt queen with my makeup, and comfortable with my new clothes while playing the drums, overall I felt very cute with my outfit, what do you think? Are you like me and want to have more turquoise clothes in your closet? I read you!

¡Que dice la gente! Espero se encuentren bien. El día de hoy vengo a mostrarles mi nueva adquisición!: Esta hermosa blusa color turquesa.
El color turquesa es uno de mis favoritos, sea cual sea su variación, brillante, opaco, en transparencia, cual sea su presentación ese color me encanta y siempre llama mi atención. A pesar de que este color me fascina desde siempre, la verdad es que no me he dedicado a comprar prendas que tengan este color, creo que a lo mucho tendré una o dos prendas turquesa actualmente en mi armario, por lo que recibir esta blusa de regalo me alegró mucho el corazón.
Esta linda blusa cuello en V llegó a mi gracias a mi mamá, que me envió como regalo sorpresa varias prendas de SHEIN. Por lo general mi mamá y yo tenemos gustos muy diferentes en cuento a moda se refiere, pero con el paso del tiempo ella ha ido entendiendo poco a poco cuál es mi estilo. Debo decir que esta vez acertó con las prendas que eligió, en verdad esta blusa me gustó mucho por distintos motivos: su color tan particular y fácil de combinar, el corte en V bastante amplio, y ese diseño cruzado en la parte delantera que me parece tan bonito.
Decidí estrenar esta prenda en mi más reciente presentación en Makinacrea, donde me presenté en concierto junto a Jorge Andrés. La elegí para este concierto ya que sabía que Jorge, el cantante y líder de la banda, iba a usar una camisa color gris junto a unos pantalones formales color beige, y me pareció que este tono turquesa encajaba perfecto con la paleta de colores que él usaría.
Por otro lado, la estética que quería reflejar Jorge era algo "nerd y geek", así quise darle un toque formal al outfit añadiendo un blazer negro que hiciera juego con el pantalón.
Por último, pero no menos importante, use el maquillaje como un elemento de acento, colocando un tono turquesa muy brillante en el párpado inferior, para así resaltar este color, y contrastarlo con el naranja en mi párpado superior, creando el muy popular estilo "teal & orange" en mis ojos.
Esa noche recibí muchos cumplidos por mi maquillaje, el cual fue un estilo bastante diferente a lo que suelo usar en mi día a día. Varias amigas me insistieron en que siga experimentando con el maquillaje de esta manera ya que se ve lindo y original, y ese feedback me tiene motivada a seguir aprendiendo sobre maquillaje y usarlo como forma de expresión y elemento de diferenciación.
En fin, esa noche el toqué estuvo divertido, me sentí reina con mi maquillaje, y cómoda con mi ropa nueva mientras tocaba la batería, en general me sentí muy linda con mi outfit. ¿A ustedes que les parece? ¿Son como yo y quieren tener más prendas color turquesa en su closet? ¡Los leo!
