Ride or DAO

Pushing boundaries with Gnars DAO — where action sports meet onchain creativity.

Since migrating from Ethereum Mainnet and gnars.wtf to gnars.com, Gnars DAO has been charging ahead on Base, blending onchain creations with IRL actions. Shredders and builders carry the decentralized, creative spirit forward through Droposals, fully onchain NFT experiments, and collaborations with DAOs, protocols, and projects across the blockchain.

Gnars Parkour

Parkour

Katwe Parkour Culture (KPC) is a community-led initiative founded by Raki in Kampala, Uganda. They use parkour as a tool to inspire, uplift, and provide youth with a positive outlet through movement.

Last week, Raki traveled all the way to Turkey to represent at championship of parkour (Proposal 95), delivering an outstanding performance with unique lines, securing the gold medal at the Bosphorus Parkour Championship in Turkey.

Parkour Obstacle

The Nounish sports obstacles began with skateboarding Nogglesrails and have since expanded into other disciplines. Now, a new parkour obstacle is being built, carrying forward this creative Nounish architecture.

Ipatinga

Between D.I.Y. spirit, skatepark rebuilds, and community grit, the Nounish world takes shape as a playground of creativity, onchain culture, and shared progression.

Noggles Rail

The installation of the Noggle Rail at Itapetininga Skatepark was both symbolic and functional. More than just a new obstacle, it now stands as a permanent testament to the collaboration between grassroots skateboarding, urban culture, and the Web3 community.

As a professional skateboarder and president of the Skate Transforma Vidas project, I see this initiative (Proposal 89) as a meaningful milestone. Our connection with Gnars began with Proposal 37, when we traveled to Uganda delivering essential donations to support five local communities. — Garcia

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4

Tony Hawk

Gnars just rolled into the most iconic skate game of all time, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, as part of Bob Burnquist's avatar. That's super sick.

More than just a visual integration, this move strengthens the bond between sibling projects, paving the way for even bolder collaborations in the future.

Droposals and $GNARS

Droposals

Gnars leverages Zora as a tool for both creation and community, blending the raw DIY energy of the streets with the permanence of onchain culture.

At the core are Droposals — community-approved works that capture the essence of our collective creativity. Once sanctioned, these pieces are minted as unique ERC-721s: one-of-a-kind cultural artifacts.

In parallel, the $GNARS token operates through Zora's creator-coin model. Each piece of gnarly content becomes linked to an ERC-20 token, anchored back to a creator profile.

Together, Droposals and $GNARS form a dual-layered system: rare artworks and fluid creator-coins. This framework equips the community with a DIY publishing tool that empowers skaters, surfers, artists, and builders to take ownership of their creations onchain.

Gnars

We bankroll action sports people. With a community governed onchain treasury. Shred with $GNARS.

Gnars on Zora serves as an onchain index of action sports creators, featuring a curated feed of their work.
