The new set is on its way and one of the questions I get asked the most is "what is the name of the new set?"
Well thanks to some internet sleuths, they've found the new name in the Buy Packs page:
MORTAL JUDGEMENT
This screenshot was posted in the GU discord multiple times 2 days ago and no one deleted it so...this is fair game
Is this just a placeholder? Perhaps, but unlikely. It seems that the 3rd set from Season 1: Champions Rise will be named Mortal Judgement.
This fits in with the theme of Trial of the Gods and Divine Order. Now the Gods will have their vengeance!

This is still up in the air, it seems like the leaked cards are really slowing to a halt here, so I don't know how much longer they can delay it.
I saw a post that suggested it won't happen until Clay is back from eye surgery, so it could be a few weeks.
I also believe we'll see two weeks of PTR days first (ala Divine Order's release schedule). There were 3 PTR days across two weeks for Divine Order, wherein they patently ignored the fact that Rolling Thunder was giving 56 stats of creatures on turn 6.
56 stats seems tame compared to an OTK from hand on Turn 6 though, so who knows.......
Bring on the power creep!

I haven't kept up with the lore at all but I remember all the Gods got chained up and the champions are in charge now. I wonder if the mortals are going to be regular people or the champions handing out judgement.
They really should provide more PTR time, its free, lol.
