My Weeken Ranked Battles #2

🇪🇸

Gracias a Blade of Styx, podemos tomar control del tablero nuevamente.

My Weeken Ranked Battles

🇺🇸

This week in my Ranked Weekend Battles, I made some changes to my old Aggro War deck to adapt it a bit to the synergy of the "Enrage" power. However, I still don't fully adapt to the changes and don't get enough progress.

Let's take a look at 3 interesting battles from my Ranked Weekend Battles.

Battle 1, vs Control Nature:

I start the game aggressively, taking advantage of the synergy between Skollkin Valkyrie and the "Enrage" power and doing good face damage from the start. My opponent takes a while to react and, although they get rid of Skollkin Valkyrie, I maintain board control until turn 5. Then, thanks to Sneaky Bruiser, White Fur Guard, and a surprising Lethal Prowler, I can end the game very easily.

Battle 2, vs Control Death:

In this match, I started a bit slow due to not having a good starting draft. However, on turn 2 I manage to summon a Raid Reveller to make a presence on the board. However, our opponent also takes their time to prepare their game and allows us to summon a White Fur Guard that protects us from their zombies and deals some damage. On turn 5, our board is cleared, but we have a Sneaky Bruiser on hand that stays safe by hiding for a turn.

Again, our board is cleared, this time with a strong presence. We have some low-cost minions to play and we use the Sanctum. Our minions die easily, but we manage to keep a "harmless" Lootable Corpse, which we then take advantage of to deal damage along with Lethal Prowler. Again, most of our creatures are neutralized, but we draw a second Lethal Prowler that allows us to end the game.

Battle 3, vs Olympian Light:

In this match, we face an aggressive deck. At first, it seemed like we would have board control thanks to the Enduring Shield weapon protecting our low-cost minions. However, we have to resist the enemy control by protecting ourselves with a reliable White Fur Guard. Thanks to Blade of Styx, we can take control of the board again. Although we are far behind in terms of health points, it is time to start dealing damage to our opponent.

We maintain board control and maintain a strong threat of imminent damage. The opponent concedes.

Hi, I like your "Aggro War" deck with "Lethal Prowler", nice games.👍👍👍

Starting slow is one of my great concerns whenever I am playing and most of the if I start slow it is very hard for me to recover and win the game.

Starting slowly is a common concern for many players, and it's certainly understandable. After all, if you're not performing your best at the beginning of the game, it can be difficult to catch up to your opponent.

I agree. And it is the case most of the time.
