I've been trying to use "Ares' Runeblade" in my war deck, and it turns out that it no longer heals the god for damage to enemy creatures.
I used this relic precisely because it could heal my god, turning the battle around.

I don't think I ever used that relic to be honest, but I agree for 8 mana is too expensive for what it does, probably 7 mana would see some play, but cant see it happen at 8 mana
