From Trial and Error to Consistent Wins: The Magic of the LITD Coconut Deck

in Gods On Chain3 days ago

As a Godunchained player, there is one thing I always look out for which is a super deck and no matter how I research or scroll through Gudecks or search the net, it is really hard to find that super decks with 100% or at least 80% win rate over 100+ battles. The first time I started playing this game as an average player, I faced 2 challenges, firstly is to find a sustainable deck which isn't costly and have a good win rate and secondly is how to increase my rating and move from one levels to another while earning. I had to try random cards in my collections which weren't that good especially when you pack high mana cards and strength into your deck, only for your opponent to pop up with low mana cards and defeat you.

That stuff is always painful and it isn't good jumping from one deck to another because it throw you into a confusing state and prevent you from having a stable strategy, I figure out most player have a good deck they are loyal to. I came across this particular deck tagged LITD Coconut Magic deck which I really love due to one particular strategy and I was like "it won't be back switching to this permanently", I noticed it always win against my previous deck and when I checked it out, it was really a low budget deck and very affordable for an average player if you want to stick to a full meteorite deck but I figure that the more quality your deck cards are, the higher your daily fragment earning which means more gods token.

To break down this particular deck for a novice player, we always need 30 cards to make a full deck but in this deck split it into 5 main cards which make the full strategy but honestly just 4 cards are really important and out of these 4 cards, only one stand out and that 1 cards determine the fate of the whole deck.

The One Mana Cards

Litd Coconut contains a lot of 1 mana cards and that really make it interest and low cost budget deck, all you need are 1 mana magic/neutral deck which are very cheap in the market, you can easily get the gold cards easily or just forge them together to make either gold quality or the diamond to increase your earnings and to top it all, you need 24 one mana cards in total for the deck. Currently I'm trying to forge these cards into diamond quality to increase my earnings and the best way is to compare market prices if I should get the diamond cards directly or forge meteorite to diamond which at times are more cheaper.

The Card Oblitrator

One of the core cards in this particular strategy is the Lost in the Depths which is a 1 mana epic spell card and the only spell which should be in the deck if we want to make it work. Currently this cards cost 11$ per one and we need 2 of it, it was 26$ before and reducing gradually, the main mission of this card is to obliterate cards based on the ability and I usually use it to obliterate all 1 mana cards in my deck so I can be able to focus on my main cards.

This cards is also slightly important, at times I do think it isn't that useable and maybe I should just replace it with something else but with time, I started recongizing it worth especially when I use it to reduce Divine coronet mana from 5 to 1 so it will be easy to play.

This particular card is a cheat code and at some point, my opponent always targeted it first because if they ignore it, I will keep producing Divine coronet anytime I play it. At some point, I hate the fact they made the card strictly a magic card, it will be more useful if it is neutral because there are lot of structure cards it will be useful for. Based on the strategy, I don't play this card unless I'm ready to play divine coronet after reducing the mana card to 1.

The main man here is The Divine Coronet which based on the ability can delve and summon 9 mana cards, most top strongest cards are 9 mana- baseds and this give me that chance to see how strong this cards are. To play this strategy, all I need to do is find a way to summon the spell card "Lost in the depths" so most times I add a draw spell cards to my deck, mostly I use "Undertow Striker" which is 1 mana based or I use dro ruin rider which is 3mana based. Honestly, I wish they can create more cards with the draw a spell ability and make them 1 mana based, it will really make this strategy an OP based since you get to summon this spell on time before your opponent will make a move.

For a novice, this deck is very good and can easily take your to auric gold level without stress but the main problem do start when you move to Solar gold which have lot of powerful deck, with time, I hope there will be cards that we can use to modify LITD Coconut and give it that power it need to beat solar and ethereal diamond deck. Mythic rank is actually my main target rank.

You need a lot of patience to play Coconut LOL. The cards can come in such an unlucky order that it's sometimes better to give up

this is actually true, it require lot of patience especially if I don't have a means to get the spell card "lost in the depth" on time which make it difficult, more reason why I wish we have more 1mana card that can have the draw a spell ability to make it easier. The deck is still an average deck with 50+% win rate. Still looking for a stronger low budget deck since I want to reach mythic rank for more juicy reward
