Eight years ago, my family agreed going up to Tagaytay. Before that day each family prepared foods for theirs to brought. We left early morning, there was no traffic at that time we travelled smoothly because it was sunday.
When we reached the place, we stopped by at fast food restaurant to ate breakfast then looking for a tour guide to teached our way down to boat harbor. Everybody felt dizzy of the zig-zag road. A soon as we reached the harbor, we ate our lunch first. After eating we ready ourselves to take a boat to the island.
Upon reaching the island there were horses waiting its up to you to walk or rent a horse to ride going uphill to volcano craters. We two decided to walked, about 30 minutes of walking we felt tired haha... so we decided to backed down and waited for them. We got bored of waiting then so these was what we did. We took a photo of ourselves at the idle boat.
When they returned backed from volcano craters we boarded the boat again back to harbor. Trip with the boat was fun. But while boating in between island the rain poured, we were all wet. Fortunately we had extra clothes, from there we rode to picnic groove.
Picnic groove is a nice place to stay, a great for unwinding your thoughts or wants to stay some quality time with your friends and family. A place you can enjoy the view of taal volcano and the cold breeze in the place. There are several things to do in picnic groove, there was a zipline, horse back riding and cottages to use for picnic. Plenty of tattoo shop and souveniers shop. People selling snacks too if you get a bit hungry. Make sure to bring a camera.
But sadly because of the eruption of Mt. Taal it is now full of ash due to ash fall. Hopefully it will be back to its old state..
