About a year ago I bought a small grafted fig plant and planted it in a pot. And by any chance if you happened to read my post some long time ago I shared I joy of seeing few fig fruits on that plant.
So today I want to share my joy of harvesting couple of very first figs that I harvested last week.
In words I cannot even express my joy and excitement on getting my first figs because it was my first experience growing fig and that's in a pot.
In fact I never got a chance to taste a raw fresh fig fruit like this big one before this. That's been said you can guess the level of my excitement.
I used to eat similar kind of fruit(must be of the same fig family) which used to be small and more juicy and usually fruits were on the ground and just above unlike this kind of fig. And when I finally tasted I look me it more because of the less sweet.
I share the same excitement when harvesting fruits and veggies for the first time in the season. There's nothing better than that! :)
Glad you got to enjoy your homegrown figs!
