Well, there are some stories you hear and you wonder if these are real life stories. I have interacted with a lot of people over time and the type of real life stories I’ve heard always got me thinking how could these things ever be.
Anyways glad you are here and am gonna be feeding you over here with some gruesome stories that would leave you thinking that it’s either these people are mentally deranged or there’s more to these happenings.
This is a true life story of a woman who for the sake of this story am going to call Meg. Meg a beautiful lady married to a man who loved her and things were going on smoothly in their marriage until some years later everything changed.
Well, the trigger could be because she was having difficulty conceiving a child. Her husband started keeping late nights and became hostile towards her.
After his drinking spree, he would use her as a punching bag. Over time she went to the hospital to know why she can’t conceive and the doctors said she was ok. She told the husband that they need to go together for medical checkup and he started accusing her of tagging him impotent which led to more beatings.
He actually married another woman from family pressures and that one didn’t also give birth. Well, the annoying thing about this marriage is that this lady was turned into nothing but a bag to experiment different types of punches. She never told any of her family members.
When the family finally found out, they wanted her to separate from this abusive marriage but she didn’t want to. She told her husband who broke her SIM cards and ordered her to never set her feet again in her parent’s house.
She stopped all communication with her family and cut ties with them. Well, the abuse continued from her husband’s end. To cut the long story short. On one occasion they hand an argument and the man beat her to stupor. She lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital.
He had hit her head on the wall and the doctors said she was critically injured and bleeding internally and she was in coma. Two days later, she was brought back home to her family members in a body bag.
When I heard this story, my heart was angered and I couldn’t help but wonder who said that marriage was a death sentence. How do some women stay in an abusive marriage and can’t seem to find the energy to come out? Which would have been better, leaving the marriage and staying alive or dying in the so called marriage?
No one should condone abuse, whether man or woman. It’s a no no!
