It's been a few days since I've shared my progress in Moon Karts, so I decided to share my current status in the game and my future plans in this post.
There are less than two days left until Season 40 ends in Moon Karts, and I'm currently ranked 20th on the Leaderboard. This may seem like a high position, but I only played three matches this season, and that was enough to get me to this position. This shows that it's not difficult and that there are also few players in the game currently.
Before continuing with Moon Karts, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony. It was on this platform that I discovered Moon Karts and StakeHouse Den.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
During my journey at Hive, I've written a few posts about Arcade Colony and its games, so I'll leave the link below so you can learn more about both.

Arcade Colony also has a Discord, where you can ask questions and keep up with the latest news.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I'm currently ranked 20th on the Leaderboard and Moon Karts. Currently, the Leaderboard is where I have my main earnings in the game and it's divided into two parts.
Ranked Leaderboard
There's the Ranked Leaderboard, and to earn Ranking Points on it, you need to complete ranked races. You'll earn Ranking Points based on your position in the race.
On the Ranked Leaderboard, I'm in 20th place, and with this score, I'll receive 2,410 COLONY tokens.
Orbitals Leaderboard
There's the Orbitals Leaderboard, and your points are based on the Orbitals you collect during the race.
On the Orbitals Leaderboard, I'm in 21st place, and with this score, I'll receive 2 COLONY tokens.
Unfortunately, I'm still a terrible Moon Karts player, and getting Orbitals in the race is very difficult for me. Therefore, my score on this Leaderboard is low, as are my COLONY tokens.
I still have a lot of fuel available, so my strategy is to try to reach an even higher position before the season ends and thus increase my COLONY token earnings. My focus is on the Ranked Leaderboard, and my goal is to get at least 4,000 COLONY tokens as an end-of-season reward.
Keep in mind that the amount of COLONY tokens staked greatly influences your race and season-end earnings. I currently have 5,000 COLONY tokens staked, which is a low amount. I can say this because there are players in lower positions but with a higher staking factor than me, and their rewards are better.
In the last two seasons of Moon Karts, I've earned 4,000 COLONY tokens (both seasons combined), and my goal is to stake these tokens plus the tokens I earn this season. I'll also upgrade some equipment and get a better kart.
I spend 7.7 Fuel per race, and I'm accumulating as much Fuel as I can because as I upgrade my kart and equipment, my fuel consumption will increase.
Thanks for reading, and see you in my next post.
