Yesterday marked the end of Season 40 in Moon Karts, and I'm thrilled to double my rewards after staking another 5,000 COLONY tokens.

Before I continue talking about my earnings in Season 40 in Moon Karts, I'll tell you a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.

You can get started in Moon Karts with a small investment. An example of this is my journey in the game, where investing less than $5 easily earns 4,000 to 5,000 COLONY tokens per season.
To earn more in Moon Karts, you need to invest in better NFTs, and I'll soon do that and show you the increase in earnings.
Season 40 in Moon Karts
This season, I only played 5 races, and that alone was enough for me to reach 20th place on the Ranked Leaderboard.

- 3 Second-Place Races
- 1 Third-Place Race.

To receive end-of-season rewards, go to Notifications on the Moon Karts home screen.
In the Ranked Leaderboard, I placed 20th and received 4,820 COLONY tokens. In the Orbitals Leaderboard, I placed 23rd and received 4 COLONY tokens.
I'm terrible at collecting Orbitals in races, so my Orbitals Leaderboard score is very low. Another reason to buy better NFTs is that they will make the Kart easier to navigate around corners, and better NFTs give you a higher Orbital score.
In total, I received 4,827 COLONY tokens this season. Yes, you read that right. I only received 3 COLONY tokens from the races because my earnings are low, as my NFTs are low rarity, my score was low, and the amount of COLONY tokens I currently have staked isn't very high.
My initial goal was to stake the COLONY tokens I received in Season 40, but I decided to use those tokens to invest in better NFTs. Now I'm keeping an eye on the market for rare NFTs at a good price.
But I'm going to stake 1,000 COLONY tokens to slightly improve my earnings next season.
I currently have 11,000 COLONY tokens staked, and my goal is to reach 50,000 COLONY tokens staked by the end of the year.
