In this post I'll talk about my strategy in the Frontier format in Splinterlands. This is one of the formats I'm playing because evolving Foundation cards is one of my goals in the game.
In my posts I like to talk about Arcade Colony, so before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, let's learn a little about this game platform.
Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
I'm playing 3 games on Arcade Colony and they are:
There's also the game Genesis League Goals on Arcade Colony, but I haven't played it yet.
Remember that this is not an investment tip, always do your research before investing in these games.
Let's continue talking about Splinterlands and my strategy for the Frontier format.

In the Frontier format I'm in the bronze league and the reason for this is because I don't have much time to play in this format because my main focus is on the Wild format, but I like the Frontier format because it's fun and I don't need to worry about renting cards or SPS to play it.
If you are a newcomer to Splinterlands and have few cards then the Frontier format is a great entry point for you because the cards are easy to learn and use, in this format you will also receive tradeable cards so it's a great way to start your empire in Splinterlands.
In the Frontier format, you can claim 3 rewards per day. For each reward, you need to win 5 battles, so you need to win 15 battles to claim all the rewards in this format.
The rewards will depend on the league you are in. Let's take a look at them.
Bronze League

These are the Bronze League rewards. They aren't very good, but it's a good start to getting cards for your collection, and it's not difficult to win battles in this league.
Silver League

In the Silver League, the rewards start to improve, meaning you'll receive more cards for your collection and evolve them faster.
Gold League

The Gold League is where you receive the best rewards, and in it, you'll receive the Foundation Pack. This is my goal in the Frontier format because in this league I can receive up to 3 Foundation Packs per day. This means more cards or more profit because I can sell the Foundation Packs for $0.06 each. This is a low value, but since you don't need investments to play in the Frontier format, it's not a bad reward.
Important Details
Whenever you advance a league in the Frontier format, you will receive rewards; you can see them in the images above.
When you reach Gold League I, you are reset to 2500 points at the end of the season.
Campaign Mode

If you want to start playing the Frontier format in Splinterlands without spending anything, then complete the Campaign Mode in the game. It will give you Foundation cards to start playing the Frontier format.
I will soon make a detailed tutorial on how Campaign Mode works in Splinterlands, but it's not difficult to complete.
