In this post I'll talk about the Kaori Matsune card in Splinterlands. Kaori Matsune is one of the cards that catches my attention, mainly because of the Wands Out rule.

Wands Out

In this rule, players can only use monsters with magic attacks in battle.

Before continuing to talk about Splinterlands and the Kaori Matsune card, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.

Kaori Matsune

Kaori Matsune is a card from the new Reward Set, which means you can only get her at Glint's shop in Splinterlands or in the in-game card market.

At Glint's shop you have the Legendary Draw and Loot Chest options to get Kaori Matsune.

As I mentioned before, Kaori Matsune caught my attention because she's a good choice for the Wands Out battle rule, and I say this because she has the Silence ability.

Let's learn about Kaori Matsune's abilities.

Snipe

Magic and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position.

Silence

-1 magic power to all enemy units.

Immunity

Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

The Silence ability is my favorite because I hate facing cards with magic attacks in the game, but the Snipe ability and the Immunity ability are also great in battle, especially the immunity when the Noxious Fumes battle rule is in effect.

Let's take a look at how Kaori Matsune performs on the battlefield.

BATTLE

I couldn't participate in any battles with the Wands Out rule, but in this battle my opponent used several monsters with magic attacks, so Kaori Matsune's Silence ability was very useful.

This was a simple strategy where my focus was on healing the frontline and backline, so I used several monsters with healing abilities in the battle, especially Rila Fen, which is a great combination with the summoner Eternal Tofu.

In 5 rounds my opponent was defeated and I didn't lose any of my monsters in the battle.
