Greetings to my esteemed friends on the Cent platform and the entire Hive blockchain. What do you do on a Sunday morning, watch the TV, play football, go to shows, visit a friend, do some laundry or go to church. One day was set aside for kingdom investments.
Worship is all that's required from every believer and it should cover every aspects of your life and rob off to others. Matthew 5:16 says, let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.
What is Worship?
Worship is when we give our deepest affections and highest praise to something. True worship of God is when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. It’s when we prize God above everything else and put Him first in our hearts.
The Bible says that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. This simply means that the Holy Spirit dwells in us and this requires us to live lives that pleases the Lord. Worship becomes what we do on a daily basis that reflects God's presence.
Just like 1 Corinthians 10:31 says,
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
This covers the true essence of worship. This is because most people thought that worship is just a posture or a tune from the keyboard that comes with a slow music. The Bible verse stated above talks about whatever we do and it includes every area of life.
In Revelation chapter 4, we could see that we were created for God's pleasure, which means it delights in everything we do.
Looking at worship from a broader perspective, I think it's an encounter a person have with God that changes his or her perspective about God. Moses in Exodus had such experience after spending 40 days and 40 night on Mount Sinai. The scripture said that after coming down from the mountain, the Israelites could look at his face.
Your encounter with God should be seen by others and in make to seek to worship that same God.
Don't just go to church today, experience God.
