In as much a single person can definitely do an amazing job , the result gotten when two people team up and work together can be so powerful, bigger , and better than what would have achieved when being done alone.
This is how powerful collaboration can be, when different minds ,skills, and perspective combine together, something unique is actually formed
Just like what we see in sports , players who play in the same spirit and work together will definitely outplay a group of talented players who don't have team spirit. This come by trusting the abilities of each other.
Not to talk about the workplace, when the workers in a workplace work together in the same spirit. The coming together of engineers, designers , the marketing team will definitely form a formidable team. If they work in isolation , they may end up missing an information , but if they sit around the same table and share ideas, their is a high chance that they will definitely build something far more creative.
When we talk about , we don't just talk about getting along, it also has to do with being appreciative of the difference and not see them as obstacles , but as strengths.
accepting the fact that you don't have every answer, willingness and openness to listen even when things are seen differently takes humility.
So the next time you are facing a challenge, call up to your friend to se their perspective. Don't compete or try to push your idea first, listen and look for ways that you can actually combine everyone input, you might end up finding out that the best solution might not be yours or ideas, but what you guys build together.
As a young girl growing in Nigeria, this has really proved to be very helpful to me, especially at my work place, even with family and friends.
