During the fall of 2017 in port Harcourt, capital city of River state Nigeria, around an area called Rumuodara Junction, there was only one fast food restaurant located in this district, then I was working there as an assistant pastry chef, **PEPPERONI FOODS & CINEMAS, A new Fast-food, Restaurant, with innovative new waves such as cinemas, photo studio, exclusive lounge and bar, creamery among others was opened and then we noticed this big rivalry will cost us, before the year came to an end we noticed a declined in sales and revenue, we adjusted accordingly because these guys came prepared.

By mid year 2018 MARKET SQUARE & KILIMANJARO FASTFOOD another conglomerate was on going just opposite PEPPERONI FOODS & CINEMAS , we all knew something different was coming up, before the year December of the same year the business was launched, with a new picture, market square is a super large shopping mall, and Kilimanjaro FASTFOOD was already a renowned FASTFOOD Chaim in the country, henced the competition was now very tough and high, customers now must make the best choice of reward for their money spent and ultimate utility derive from that spending.

Just before KILIMANJARO fast food and market square is SHANDEES a 5 minutes walk away, all these FASTFOOD restaurant were in massive competition to outsmart each other, by this times the cost of raw materials were increasing that means we're now in between avoiding such incentives has lowering prices to attract more customers and risk running loses in the process, so what we did was reduced quantity produced and focused more on customer service , good taste and quality of foods served, I resigned that same year and relocated to Akwa ibom state for my studies.

Exactly Three years later I returned to discover that all these FASTFOOD were all closed down, and the only one still functioning in full capacity till date is KILIMANJARO FASTFOOD & Marketsquare,
amidst all of these economy downturn and high cost of everything, the FASTFOOD Chain continues to soar above all others when it all started I knew competition would be tough and in the high side, I will quickly drop down some of the things a personal take out from all of these....

Based on few of my research I discovered that the Conglomerate has gained significant grounds in Nigeria in almost all state of the federation so been a household name and coming into a new area people were more willing to identify with them than others

While other FASTFOOD were busy adjusting back and forth to ensure they don't run on a loss, KILIMANJARO ensure they Maintained their quality and taste in all her products.

One time I went there to eat and observe something for myself and the way I was attended to right from the door man to the sales person to the waiters just got me wowed this was topnotch service here

Warm, cozy, and sweet ambiance
I understood for a fact that they had the resource to stay afloat these times but apart from that I sensed that these guys are here to succeed no matter what and they meant it....

KEYNOTES TO MY ENTREPRENEURS
It's the beginning of the year and we all are trying to set up, upgrade level up in our businesses, while doing all of these note the economy and financial status of your country has a bigger percentage of the deciding factor on whether your business succeeds or not, but however in whatever situation you find yourself know this do for a fact that it's time to go back and review your **S. W. O. T ANALYSIS techniques to better understand and take control of the the situation. From my study of KILIMANJARO FASTFOOD AND MARKETSQUARE CONGLOMERATE I realise this that

1> What really sustain them at that point was that while others FASTFOOD around them were cutting corners, to maintain sales, cover cost and not run into a loss, these guys were looking at the big picture, you see hard and trying times is the most perfect time to observe opportunities and maximise them to fullness.

2> Staff inventory probably it's just you and some persons in your small set up be careful about unproductive staffs, it's a perfect 4th one 4th to reshuffle, at this point engaging multitasking modules in your business is very necessary were a person can do more than one task per time.

3> Don't compromise Quality: I believe that as a business person you should know your area of strength and focus on it as your competitive advantage over others, when you're known for this, it becomes your stronghold on your customers, so if by any means you adjust on that then you might Loose them and decline on sales, revenue and over.

4>Maintain open source relationship with your customers: create and establish a connection between you and your customers in such a unique way that gets them to stick around, when they earned your trust and loyalty to them they won't go else were because of what you've establish with them

On a final note as an entrepreneur you should keep your eyes on the horizon, be open to new ideas, strategies, concept, product in your business line, these and more is what will sustain you up no matter how severe the competition is.......
