Dopo aver parcheggiato l'auto si parte con una piccola imbarcazione per raggiungere l'isola. È una proprietà privata, acquistata nel passato da un uomo di origine inglese e siciliana.

In acqua invece, proprio all'interno della laguna, un centinaio di giovani praticano kitesurf, approfittando del vento e dell'acqua senza onde, caratteristiche tipiche entrambe di questa zona.
In the northern part of the coast you can admire in the distance the mountain that houses the city of Erice, perched on top. In the water, on the other hand, right inside the lagoon, about a hundred young people practice kitesurfing, taking advantage of the wind and waveless water, both typical characteristics of this area.
Nella parte più interna dell'isola abbiamo notato la presenza di un vitigno adibito quasi certamente alla produzione di vino. In questa zona la cultura del vino è molto sentita. In questa parte della Sicilia sono presenti diverse case vinicole famose in tutta Italia.
In the innermost part of the island we noticed the presence of a vine almost certainly used for the production of wine. In this area the culture of wine is very strong. In this part of Sicily there are several famous wineries throughout Italy.
Il nostro giro è stato davvero più veloce di quanto avremmo voluto, andiamo via con la promessa di tornarci presto in futuro. Il rientro in barca ci da il tempo di assaporare ancora un po' la bellezza di questo posto.
Our lap was really faster than we would have liked, we leave with the promise to return soon in the future. The return by boat gives us time to savor a little more beauty of this place.
