Model Kit Review, 1/48 Scale P-61 Black Widow Airplane

in Toys on Hive2 years ago

Hello, hivers!

I was looking at the video list on my youtube channel and realized that I had missed putting this model kit review on my hive page. This is a review that I put on my youtube page at the beginning of June.

This is a review of a classic Monogram 1/48 scale kit for the American WW2 P-61 airplane. This kit has been in production since the mid 1970s, and is still being produced. The box art has changed over the years, but the kit is still available. The kit that I review in the video is one that I got from the secondary market. I usually get these kits on ebay. Because of the box art of this particular kit, I'm pretty sure that it was produced in either the late 1970s or the early 1980s. You can tell that this kit was stored in less than ideal conditions, the box is in kind of rough condition. The kit it's self is still in good condition.

The P-61 Black Widow was used as a night fighter and bomber interceptor by the U.S. military during WW2. I believe that the P-61 was used mostly in the Pacific theater during WW2. The airplane originally had a crew of 3, but later in the war, the tail gunner's position was eliminated, as it was considered to be no longer necessary.

Here's the video for this model kit review, it's about 11 and a half minutes long. This model contains a lot of parts.

Thanks for checking out this model kit review!

It is also one of my dreams to collect this kind of toy. I wish it will come true.

I have seen that very kit used to make an Orkified P-38 Lightning-sh dakkajet for Warhammer 40,000
