Haunted Toys Contest! 👻

Hi, Toys on Hivers!

We have a new contest in store for all of you today. Even though November, the Halloween month, is coming to a close, there's no rule that says we shouldn't remember or reminisce memories from our loved ones or talk about unknown spiritual forces within our midst.

Maybe you have a loved one who passed away and still have their essence left on the things they left behind,

or maybe remember a loved one, that has not necessarily passed away, but by some cascade of circumstances, whose relationship with them ended, but still recall the memories you still had with them embedded in the toys and trinkets they gave you.

Maybe, you didn't experience any of these, but know of an urban legend around the town you are living in wherein it involves a toy shrouded by sightings and hauntings that has been brought this month of spooks and ghouls or so the legends go.

Memories that are left behind and embedded in the things they used to own can be somewhat painful. Grief and the unknown often inspires creativity and that's what you need for this new contest as you talk about toys that haunt you...

Did someone who you loved died and kept toys when they were alive? Who was that person, what were they like and what fond memory did you have with the person with their toy?

Did you used to be in a relationship with someone, or were you ever friends with someone that by a series of unfortunate circumstances, forced both of you to end your friendship or relationship? Did they ever gave you a toy for you to remember them by? What was the story behind the toy? Talk about how you got it or how it ended up with you.

Known haunted toys near you

Since it's the month where spirits, entities and ghost stories come into play, what toys haunted the town you are in or you used to live in? Did you ever visited it? How did the toy made you feel?

CONTEST PRIZE

The total post rewards will be split as follows:

First prize - 40% of total post rewards
Second prize - 25% of total post rewards
Third prize - 15% of total post rewards

In addition, honorable mentions will also be given 3% each. The number of honorable mentions will be decided later on.
