Today I drove for my mother to a birthday party while I made a "toy run" at a local mall. I wasn't invited at the party even though it was a family affair. My mother told the host, however, that I didn't want to go and that I have my own stuff to do. Way to go embarrassing me again, Ma 😹😹😹 She even defended her stance, saying the host might get offended. Why, what about MY feelings?
Anyway, at the Mall of Asia, I usually go to three stores to get my McFarlane figures: SM Department Store, Filbar's, and Toy Kingdom. Below are the items from SM. Today's "toy run," however, is not really a run since I have no money to buy today.

I thought they didn't have anything interesting, but scavenging behind the displays yielded the two Metron variants and Mirror Master. Nice.

There wasn't a place to eat where there were no long lines of people. This Momo, however, was empty. I jested at the cashier that they have cobwebs in their store. She immediately got nervous and said she will clean it immediately after her shift.

Only when she got out did she realize I was referring to their Halloween decor. Here she is gawking at her gaffe.

Filbar's has nothing good to offer today.

At toy Kingdom, beside the usual uninteresting stuff, lay hard-to-find Zelda figures!

I only got to admire Link briefly before someone scooped up both Link and Zelda without a second thought.

I didn't mind the steal, however, as I already have both of them. Looking at a second Zelda figure, I think she has better eyes than what I have. Do these reissues have different paint apps?

Below is the Zelda I have.

This is a full udon place. I was sooo hungry but I couldn't afford to get in the long line as I needed to fetch my mother soon.

I just grabbed two corndogs from a place no one was minding, and on the drive home, I went to drive-thru for a sandwich.
These local adventures may be mundane, but I am always eternally grateful for them. Happy to be alive!
