Having two young boys in the family means I have all the boy toys including the endless cars, trains, lego and balls around the house. Another thing they have been getting into are video games where they have already finished a few games on the Switch including the latest Mario Odyssey they are on the final leg of the game. Recently the boys received a cool portable 2 player game machine. They were a bit confused to see the games as they weren’t as high tech/ clear videos as what they are used to but they were super interested.
The machine can be played 1 or 2 players and is battery operated. We found that if we used the AA batteries, it gets drained quickly with the video and sound but plugging the portable battery in will last for a long time. The machine is quite simple and is really what the old video game machines used to look like but in a mini version with a joystick, the A and B button with the few other buttons to operate the machine. You can also adjust the sound of the music so can be played in a quiet environment.
There are 199 games loaded in the machine but not all of them are that fun to play with. The boys like the shooting games and I like to play the soccer game where you need to save the goals coming your way. Most of the games are very simple like they used to be so it can get a bit borrowing after some time as we are now used to more advanced designed games and consoles.
The reason why this machine is great of the boys is we can take it to camping or on weekends away. Many campsites doesn’t have good internet connection and to keep the kids occupied other than books, board games we can take this along with us. Not only that, the two player option is great for those games that can verse each other or like times when only one of them wants to play, it can act for a single player machine. The price of the machine is around $25- $30 depending where you buy it but overall a great price to pay if it keeps the kids and adults occupied on those trips away.
