I read somewhere that rewarding yourself, especially if you work often, once a month or so with something you might enjoy. Supposedly it's good for your mental well being and keeping up with the good work and looking forward to the next present. I'm personally not religious, meaning I don't even celebrate christmas, but growing up watching TV from countries that do (I watched a lot of german TV as a kid) and all the theme shows that started appearing around this time of the year it really got you into a christmas present even if you didn't celebrate it. At some point I just started wishing people I knew that did celebrate it Merry Christmas and them ironically wishing it back to me even tho they knew I didn't. Anyway, are you getting yourself something nice this Christmas? Maybe taking some profits from the recent BTC/ETH pump to reward yourself with? Or are all of that going into more Hive? ;)

Hahaha actually I haven't been using it all that much because it makes me dizzy. I played the Star wars game and there is way too much story going on to get into the action. The pubg/fortnite game they have isn't all that cool either.
I'm reading the book ready player two - and they describe ONI headsets which will sync your brain right into a virtual world. Ready player one's story is where VR seems to be heading, but I'll wait for the ONI before I make it a regular hobby.
I remember reading that posts of yours, I find it's best to have a leg-rest behind you and a clear 8x8 space. The leg-rest is helpful because it can make ducking less exhausting because you just sit on it rather than do an air-squat!

Got my Christmas present earlier with one week. I ordered the Secretlab Omega Cookies and Cream chair when it was on black Friday. I've been waiting to do it for the past 4 years lol, and I'm really happy the moment finally came. I also ordered an Amazfit T-rex smartwatch for my bf since I know it's been on his wishlist for a while, too bad today in the morning I received in my email that the order was cancelled due to lack of stock. I really hate when people don't update the stock information on the website so I avoid placing an order and waiting for something that will never arrive. If I knew it was not in stock anymore I would place the order from a different site but oh well, the sales are already over and I can't have the present anymore. It makes me so sad and disappointed 😔

LOL, either you love them or hate them. Seems with Apple there is nothing in between! I like the user friendliness. Just start the new one and it transfers within minutes everything from your old phone. Also I don´t like Google, they are sucking up data even more than Apple.

I got a pretty cheap GPU as this is more for programming and the ram upgrade from my laptop. I plan on upgrading the PSU and GPU over the summer once I make some money and white GPUs come back in stock and to a reasonable price(its not like any are in stock or at a reasonable price right now).
Well at least this way the campaign will last as long as other games!

I'm giving myself some longterm goals that could make me happy. Lately it's just been accomplishing short term goals that just makes me go with the flow. Now I can make some small decisions that snowball into game changing decisions. Vague I know, but this month is dedicated for that meditation. If I could think of something tangible, that would be equipment related to creating more content but those can just wait in due time.
Getting myself the "Broadcaster Plus 2" option on Castr.io Expanding my restream possibilities.

Never had I really got anything for myself on Christmas. It is mostly my parents that get for me and I haven't gotten for anybody.
The thing is, I have hardly celebrated anything even my birthdays. The only ones that happen is when my family decide to make a surprise for me. So going out, or buying gifts and presents on events like this doesn't come to me. Everyday is just like every other day to me but I feel I should try losen up and give it a change.
I have some BTC ready to sell, but can't bring myself to do it. It would pay for all the presents I am having to dish out nicely. Just a little higher and then sell.., you know the feeling....

OK, so I'll be giving my age away with this one, but it's REALLY becoming more and more difficult ironing out the pleats on my face...in my neck...on the forehead... the arms have grown wings etc etc...so...I will be buying a good face and body cream, but have to bypass those exclusive brands as 2020 hard lockdown was really cruel to the tourism industry; actually added some extra pleats/crinkles/creases!
On the other hand, what I would love to buy for myself, is an experience: a week in the mountains or by the sea with good friends so we can talk nonsense well into the night and laugh till our tummies hurt, miss that soooooo much! But it currently is the busiest time of the year in our bnb, and for that I am thankful, so the experience will have to wait!
I may steal some present ideas from this thread for newyears. :p
