Ask we celebrate Fathers today all over the world for their unending love and support for us from the day we were born till now and as we remember them (for those that are no more) and also in a bid to learn more about other languages and culture I will like to ask what FATHER is called in your language.

Sort:

Mine is papa

Are you an English man? We use Papa and Mama also here as a way of calling old men and women

English is our second language

Nope, I'm not. I'm from Malaysia. Well, looks like there aren't too big gap the way we use the word.

I know right. Papa is quite common in a lot of languages

In Turkish we call daddy "Baba"

Have a nice day...

This is similar to how Yorùbá people of Nigeria call it too. Bàbá with a tonal mark.

Thanks for stopping by❤️
