Yeah, I'm sure there will be a second wave, probably in the northern winter. The virus seems to dislike hot and humid summers. It does propagate in tropical countries during the dry season or where all public buildings have airconditioning.
Is there a reason to expect a second wave to start in China again? China is now reacting strongly to numbers that would be considered a normal day in Western Europe.
A cure for any disease is a rarity, but a treatment for Covid-19 looks to be within reach before a vaccine is available. Testing a vaccine takes a year and a half at best. You can't cut corners when you want to inject billions of people. Although this seems to be a controversial opinion here, doctors really don't want to poison whole populations. And it will probably be like the flue vaccine that needs to change every year and offers only a few months of immunity.
