HIVE:: What is the reason behind picking the Name HIVE??

Do you know what is the reason behind the naming of our community blockchain as HIVE?

I, see that there is already a company name with hiveblockchain technologies. So what would have been the reason behind picking the name HIVE as opposed to some other brand new, unique name?

        So what would have been the reason behind picking the name HIVE as opposed to some other brand new, unique name?

        I always assumed they just needed a cool sounding name and took Hive from Hivemind on Steem.
