Why do some people give up on hive?

in Ask the Hivelast month

I stopped posting on Hive last year, and it's a decision I deeply regret. Initially, I felt discouraged by the limited votes my posts received, wondering if it was all worth my time.

However, with time, I came to realize that success on Hive isn't just about the votes or rewards; it's about consistency, engagement, and a genuine passion for writing. Many people give up too soon, expecting overnight success or a get-rich-quick scheme. But Hive is more than that.

For me, Hive is about being part of a community that values knowledge-sharing, creativity, and meaningful connections. It's about reading inspiring content, engaging with others' posts, and learning from their experiences.

Ultimately, Hive is a platform that rewards dedication, hard work, and a genuine love for writing. I'm grateful for this realization, and I'm excited to rekindle my passion for sharing my thoughts and ideas with the Hive community.

I'm also excited to share my thoughts, experiences, and knowledge with the community, and to learn from others in return. Whether it's through posting, commenting, or curating content, I'm committed to being an active and engaged member of the Hive community.

As a newcomer, it's easy to feel discouraged by the success of others, but I've come to realize that everyone starts somewhere.

Rather than comparing myself to others, I'm focusing on learning from them. I'm reading posts from experienced authors, absorbing their knowledge, and letting their stories inspire me. I'm also engaging with others, asking questions, and seeking feedback to improve my own writing.

By doing so, I'm not only honing my craft but also building meaningful connections with like-minded individuals. And as I grow and learn, I'm excited to share my own insights and experiences with the community, and to contribute to the rich stories and ideas that make Hive so special.
