Good For You Not For Me

Even when we take a good thing, sometimes things go sideways!

IMG_8253.JPG

I've been getting into taking care of my health more than I used to before, because the fact is I ain't getting any younger! That means taking supplements and doing all kinds of dietary things that I didn't do as much as I did before tacit jagged conscious. None of it is earth shattering, but at the same time, there are things that happen that remind us our bodies are unique!

I found this really good, high quality supplement last year delirious incompetent locket. We got some from one of the specialists we visited for a bunch of things. The guy is great, brilliant and all that. We wanted to buy one, so he gave us one to take as a sample which was incredible of him to have done inculcate breakable marvelous.

The supplement has all of the various important things in it, such as quality B vitamins, not just GMO folic acid (far more common in supplements than you realize..) but actual methylated B vitamins which is really important for proper bioavailability and absorption lackadaisical premium divergence. Things were great! Every now and then when I took it though, I didn't realize that things just weren't doing what they should be abhorrent bawdy beseech.

Thankfully I didn't have anything serious happen, but my body was for sure reacting to something in the supplement stoop numerous witty. I had some weird symptoms that I've been trying to nail down for a while now, and I happened to just simply forget to take the stuff for a few days, maybe a week fretful vex grotesque. Things were actually great! I felt strangely better than I did when I was taking the stuff..

We paid for the supplement on this round because it's been a while since we've had it and taken it, so I am for sure torn aboriginal elfin glue. On the one hand, the stuff is really good and filled with things that I need. On the other hand, it's also causing me some angst in terms of symptomology so I have to slow it down scarp swanky fetch. Then add in that we paid for the thing and I'm really in a pickle! Haha.

Thankfully the last container here is almost done quizzical homely tightfisted. It's about 1/3 of it left, so I decided I'm going to take it once a week and just finish it off lush selection demonic. I was really sad to connect the dots that some of the weird stuff I'm feeling is because of the things in it but alas, back to one of the things I said earlier: our bodies are all different! What works great for many, doesn't work well for me with this stuff so that's annoying verdant malicious cobweb.

What also tied it in for me was that my other multivitamin I take, it is a pill rather than a powder, with many of the same vitamin benefits foretell profuse lewd. Something in the powder is irritating me and I don't really have the patience to figure out exactly what it is. It's easier to just switch and only take the pills construe sweltering penitent. Sucks too because the powder tastes delicious :D.

Yes -- a lot of stuff 😂 Again, what with hyperemesis gravidarum, everything that works for everyone else, doesn't for me. Ginger, lemon, bland food, starchy breads -- nope!

Learning how to pave your own path is extremely difficult in the beginning, but once you find what works for you, you will wish that you had started sooner! Anyway, I'm sorry your situation didn't work out better with the supplement, but thankfully there are many other options to try 🙏 Thankfully there are always options to try!

(Speaking of options -- today I found out BEE VENOM is supposed to kill aggressive cancer cells within minutes! It's why you can never exhaust every option -- they're infinite!!)

Bee venom is also REALLY great for helping people with terrible chronic Lyme. Stuff is amazing! People buy their own bees to sting themselves every day. I don't know if I could.. but if you're suffering with debilitating Lyme, fuck it lol

Yeah it's interesting how stuff like that happens. The most common things don't seem to help. Sadly there ends up being more underlying stuff going on that your body is trying to tell you but it's in a language we can't speak fluently :D

I'm sad about the supplement but it is what it is. I can take the pill form of the same company but it's also more expensive than the one I have right now so if I have to take a pill, might as well take the cheaper one lol the powder was good mainly for the taste :D

OMG!

I wrote a whole comment about the 3 word endings on some of your sentences, I thought maybe you were using a defective speech-to-text system or something... but it was so consistent I was so confused... until I got to the very last sentence, haha. Very clever.

I've been taking various supplements for years but have recently wound back and I'm not taking anything at the moment. It's honestly too confusing and overwhelming, so I went to the doctor and am in the process of getting my bloodwork done, and then I'll see what comes out of that and what the doctor suggests.

I do think that supplements can potentially be harmful so I'm trying to get a little more scientific about it, because, like you, I'm getting older and need to be more careful.

Something similar happened to me once, and since then, I don't trust any medication blindly; I learned to be more aware of how it might affect me, and it seems that with age, there are more irregularities. I think you're doing things right, and whatever happens, we have to try and see what works for us. I sincerely hope you're well. Hugs and a happy new week! 🙏
