Oh yeah for sure, I think I put in here that I'm not here to get a hundred pounds of muscle. There is a LOT of benefit of gaining muscle mass though, just not stupid sized ones. Gaining lean muscle is incredibly beneficial as it is a gigantic source of blood sugar consumption and regulation which is crucial these days. Our metabolic health is one of the most important aspects!
As well, having the muscle on the bone helps keep us spry as we age, which is a really good thing.
I will admit though that sometimes in the gym, the actual gym, I was pretty excited to lift some heavy ass weights! I had a goal of being able to bench press 225 and I did which was awesome! That was my high though, and I think it was good to just attain the goal. Now I can say I did it!
