En este post vamos a hacer en paso rápido por 3 artistas mujeres que demuestran talento de sobra y nos llenan de inspiración para crear y seguir investigando hasta encontrar cada una de sus historias.

Remedios Varo, nació un 16 de diciembre de 1908 en España, donde se formo artísticamente y expandió sus conocimientos en circulos surrealistas de
Paris. Con la llegada de la segunda guerra mundial, Remedios se exilia a México, donde se encuentra con colegas artistas, como Carrington con quien mantiene una amistad duradera.
Remedios Varo, was born on December 16, 1908 in Spain, where she trained artistically and expanded her knowledge in surrealist circles of
Paris. With the arrival of the Second World War, Remedios went into exile in Mexico, where she met fellow artists, such as Carrington, with whom she maintained a lasting friendship.
Varo era una artista minuciosa y con una técnica muy desarrollada. Por cada obra pictórica, realizaba un dibujo del mismo tamaño, el cual calcaba y luego pintaba.
Sus obras muestran a Remedios como una artista alquimista, ya que en sus pinturas se ven figuras humanas estilizadas realizando tareas, en las cuales se tienen elementos oníricos y arquetípicos. Estos personajes se encuentran entre arquitecturas de ensueño donde las sombras juegan y los gatos habitan cada rincón.
Varo was a meticulous artist with a highly developed technique. For each pictorial work, he made a drawing of the same size, which he traced and then painted.
Her works show Remedios as an alchemist artist, since in her paintings stylized human figures are seen performing tasks, in which there are dreamlike and archetypal elements. These characters are among dreamlike architectures where shadows play and cats inhabit every corner.

En 1932, luego del fallecimiento de su madre, Loise decide dejar las matemáticas e inclinarse por el arte para mas tarde conectar especialmente con la escultura, donde logra usar sus traumas y tensiones de la infancia como inspiraciones para crear sus obras.

Her work has femininity as its main focus, the observation of the oppression suffered at home, the abuse received in childhood and the impotence to act against the oppressor. Bourgeois's art is confessional, it expresses feelings of anxiety, loneliness, betrayal and trauma, it is highly autobiographical and impressive, not only because of its content, but also because of its size.

Jenny Saville nacio el 7 de mayo de 1970 en Reino Unido, estudio Arte en Glasgow School of Art en Estados Unidos y termino su formación en Slade School Of Fine Art. Al finalizar sus estudios un conocido coleccionista de Arte, compro sus obras por los siguientes dos años.
Jenny Saville was born on May 7, 1970 in the United Kingdom. She studied Art at the Glasgow School of Art in the United States and finished her training at the Slade School of Fine Art. At the end of her studies, a well-known art collector bought her works for the following two years.
En sus obras se pueden apreciar los cuerpos, con sus curvas, sus carnes que cuelgan, se mueven y viven en el movimiento. Jenny trabaja lineas y manchas de una forma muy expresiva, gestual, transmitiendo fuerza y presencia. Sus pinturas a gran escala rompen con el estereotipo de belleza femenina, muestran la realidad de la piel y los cuerpos con el paso de la vida
In his works you can appreciate the bodies, with their curves, their meats that hang, move and live in movement. Jenny works lines and spots in a very expressive, gestural way, transmitting strength and presence.
