Blue veins

A veces después de pasar tantos días dibujando sin parar y haciendo muchos detalles, me estreso y quiero hacer algo mas sencillo, pero las ideas se vuelven locas y comienzo por una idea que termina modificándose en el proceso, este fue el caso de esta ilustración que les presento hoy, realmente le cambié muchas cosas, pero mantuve el hecho de querer hacer algo sencillo porque me sentía bastante mal de mis manos. Los tonos fríos como el azul y morado siempre me han gustado muchísimo, me incomoda a veces repetir los colores pero no puedo evitarlo, de hecho este dibujo al principio lo maneje con una paleta de colores piel bastante normal, al final decidí cambiar completamente los colores jajaja, no es uno de mis favoritos pero creo que se ve bien el contraste de azules y los brillos que logre resaltar.

Sometimes after spending so many days non-stop drawing and doing many details, I get stressed and want to do something simpler, but the ideas go crazy and I start with an idea that ends up being modified in the process, this was the case of this illustration that I present to you today, I really changed a lot of things, but I kept the fact that I wanted to do something simple because recently I felt pretty bad in my hands.
I have always liked cold tones like blue and purple, sometimes it bothers me to repeat the colors but I can't help it, in fact I handled this drawing at first with a quite normal skin color palette, in the end I decided to completely change the colors hahaha, it's not one of my favorites but I think the contrast of blues and the brightness that I managed to highlight look good.

Proceso/Process

Mi boceto inicial seria un retrato de una chica con gorro y cabello recogido, pensaba agregarle otras cosas a medida de que fuese desarrollando el dibujo, aplique una paleta de colores piel dando forma con luces y sombras, en nuevas capas comencé a mezclar estos tonos para dar una piel suave.

My initial sketch would be a portrait of a girl with a hat and hair tied back, I thought I would add other things to it as the drawing developed, I applied a palette of skin colors shaping it with lights and shadows, in new layers I began to mix these tones to give smooth skin.

Pinte su cabello de marrón y algunos mechones en azul, desde ese momento pensé que quizás si le daba una tonalidad azul al dibujo completo quedaría un poco mejor, dibuje algunos accesorios y maquillaje para luego realizar el cambio de color, lo puse un poco oscuro para luego pintar esta especie de “venas” azul claro.

I painted her hair brown and some strands in blue, from that moment I thought that maybe if I gave a blue hue to the whole drawing it would look a little better, I drew some accessories and makeup and then made the color change, I put it a little dark to then paint this kind of "veins" light blue.

En una nueva capa con el ajuste de color en “screen” resalte las venas azules, y resaltando partes de su rostro, ojos y joyeria

In a new layer with the color adjustment on "screen" highlight the blue veins, and highlighting parts of his face, eyes and jewelry.

Que efecto más espectacular @alexa.art! Recuerdo una vez hace mucho hice un diseño, la mujer eléctrica y cuando vi tu obra dije se parecen muchísimo, sólo que yo lo tome no como venas sino como electricidad. Excelente Alexa, un gran saludo!❤️
