Green mood — Hive

No suelo utilizar demasiado el verde en mis dibujos, pero si me gusta de vez en cuando atreverme a hacer algo diferente y adentrarme un poco más en estas tonalidades, hoy realice un dibujo rápido y sencillo usando mayormente colores verdes, me costo un poco lograr un acabado realista esta vez porque tenía mucho tiempo sin trabajar con esta paleta de colores, sobre todo en los labios los cuales pinte de un tono naranja pero siento que no encajaron demasiado bien esta vez, aun asi es bueno volver a este tipo de paleta de colores tan complicadas para mi para tomarlo como un recordatorio que a veces es bueno variar.

I don't usually use too much green in my drawings, but I do like to dare to do something different from time to time and delve a little deeper into these shades. Today I made a quick and simple drawing using mostly green colors. It took me a little while to achieve a realistic finish this time because it had been a long time since I worked with this color palette, especially on the lips which I painted an orange tone but I feel like they didn't fit too well this time. Even so, it's good to go back to this type of color palette that is so complicated for me to take it as a reminder that sometimes it's good to vary.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y comencé a pintar usando diferentes tonalidades de verdes y para las sombras verde oliva oscuros o marrones claros, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para formar mejor todo el rostro y finalmente mezclarlos dejando un resultado mas limpio. Realmente tuve muchísimos problemas al pintar, en diferentes oportunidades cambie un poco el color en algunas zonas para ver si podía hacer funcionar esto de mejor manera pero todos fueron intentos fallidos.

I sketched and began painting using different shades of green, and for the shadows, dark olive green or light brown. On a new layer, I added more colors to better define the face and finally blend them together, creating a cleaner result. I really struggled with the painting. I changed the color slightly in some areas several times to see if I could make it work better, but all were unsuccessful attempts.

Cuando pinte el cabello siento que mejoro todo un poco y como fondo decidí usar un color llamativo turquesa, al final todo me parecía demasiado simple asi que decidí pintar una especie de glitter alrededor de los ojos usando verdes muy claros y algunos puntos blancos muy diminutos.

When I painted the hair I felt like I improved everything a little and as a background I decided to use a striking turquoise color, in the end everything seemed too simple so I decided to paint a kind of glitter around the eyes using very light greens and some very tiny white dots.
