Something different

Hoy quise hacer algo diferente, que saliera del molde de las técnicas que siempre utilizo, algo más facil pero que para mi se hace mas difícil ya que no estoy acostumbrada a trabajar con tantas cosas sencillas, detalles que deberían ser sutiles pero que de lejos dan una impresión bastante realista, esos efectos son bastante complicados pero quise intentarlo, esta vez me inspire en varios dibujos que vi en Pinterest que eran en blanco y negro pero que tenían algo muy particular, el blanco era el color predominante y los detalles en negro se veían bastante bien. No quedo como lo imagine o como pensé que se vería pero bueno, es mi primer intento

Today I wanted to do something different, something outside the mold of the techniques I usually use. Something easier, but actually more difficult for me since I'm not used to working with so many simple things—details that should be subtle but from a distance give a very realistic impression. These effects are quite complicated, but I wanted to try. This time I was inspired by several black and white drawings I saw on Pinterest that had something very particular about them: white was the predominant color, and the black details looked quite good. It didn't turn out exactly as I imagined or thought it would, but oh well, it's my first attempt.

Proceso/Process

Para este dibujo debía trabajar con el line art, asi que hice el boceto dos veces ya que el primero estaba un poco feo sobre todo en la parte del cabello, intenté que el segundo boceto fuese mas delicado y menos alborotado. Trabaje la piel con tonos grises muy claros y tenues y para las sombras use grises un poco mas oscuros. No debía detallar demasiado los colores y fue bastante complicado para mi de esta forma.

For this drawing, I had to work with line art, so I did the sketch twice since the first one was a bit rough, especially the hair. I tried to make the second sketch more delicate and less messy. I worked the skin with very light and muted gray tones, and for the shadows, I used slightly darker grays. I wasn't supposed to add too much detail to the colors, and it was quite difficult for me to do it this way.

Poco a poco agregue algunas sombras en el cabello y tambien hice detalles diferentes que se me ocurrieron en el rostro, hice una especie de maquillaje de mimo, no hay demasiado que explicar ya que no utilice demasiados tonos ni detalle tanto, pero a pesar de contar esto tan facil para mi fue toda una pesadilla jaja.

Little by little I added some shadows to the hair and also made different details that occurred to me on the face, I did a kind of mime makeup, there is not much to explain since I did not use too many tones or much detail, but despite saying this so easy for me it was a total nightmare haha.
