On seeing the prompt for today, nothing really came to mind in terms of ideas. So I doodled. At first I drew three arms surrounding a crystal, then trashed it and the next was a face. From the face it seemed the lady was looking at someone in delight, as if to say, “We’ve arrived!”. An island of crystals sounded pretty cool.
PROCESS
Materials: Uni pin ink pens, Staedtler Pencils, Sinoart sketchbook
I started with a sketch from which I then worked on by using the ink pens to draw over the pencil marks. After this was done I proceeded to add in more details.
