My mom was called Manjalika by her siblings and uncles possibly an extended form of Manju - meaning pleasant. I never could find this in dictionary and when she was there I never asked her - I asked a thousand other things - have you eaten ? Have you taken your meds ? Have you slept ? Did you see the doctor ? After she has left I have these multitude of questions about her that I need to ask and know.
This is not completed yet -but this reminds of the woman who brought me up. So so many facets to her , so many colors and fragrances.
