Analog to Digital artwork (Part 1)

New song and artist I've been obsessed with - I feel alive by Duskus

After sharing that unasked piece of information, let's talk about ART and my new art musing. 😁 I have been working on this piece for quite a while not because it took a lot of time to create but I'd rather say it developed in stages. And there are currently 3 sets of paintings on my desk and one digital illustration of it.

Stage 1: Idea generation and sketching. If you've seen my last artwork, it is on the similar lines. So you know this idea has been cooking in my head for some time. I even tried to apply an old method of copy making using black carbon paper to get those perfect circles. The results weren't satisfactory.

Stage 2: Refining the artwork. This piece has many elements like - Aries constellation, Cresent Moons, Sailors Wheel, Half-an-Anchor, Fishes in the form of Yin Yang, and compass where it all started from. There are pictures zooming in on those details.

Stage 3: Trying out handmade sheets for fun πŸ˜›. Here I have good old black and white artwork on the grey sheet. πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

So far I have shared till stage 3 and two trials of the artwork.
Next post I'll take it to the digital piece. πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
