Happy Sunday to you all
I wanted to focus on the character of the face rather than making the portrait overly polished.
The strong eyes, defined features and layered hatching gave me room to play with contrast and depth. I kept some of the lines loose, especially around the hair, so the drawing still feels like a pen study rather than a perfectly controlled portrait.
