you can use anything. i used to use, you know pencil tins? so a metal tin that pencils come in. they rust abit EVENTUALLY so i switched to these plastic stationary cases. They were like 2 dollars each. a roll of baking paper from the kitchen and plain coloured paper towel under. basically like 10 dollars of material for endless wet pallettes. i also got a $1 squeeze bottle for the water so i just squeeze it in there.
You can see these are jusr A4 paper cases. they are thin and stack great. easy to clean. fairly big.
if you don't want them TOOOO wet. you just crank the lid open a little big so SOME air flow.
Here you can see i just stack them up.

Ah that is what you meant! I was imagining the same thing but way thicker, but I also wasn't sure if it's gonna keep the air out. That's genius! XD Thanks for the advice, I should go ahead and do the same thing but maybe buy a new one or cheaper since what i have is very thick. That's so awesome lol
yeah, they are awesome. they will hold wet for days. in fact i think i have had one stay wet for weeks. but like i said the quality of the paint can deteriorate a bit if too much water seeps into the paint. they become too liquid.if you crank the lid open by 4mm or so (jam a thin paintbrush or pencil in the gap) that helps but you only get 48 hours or so. :-)
