This is a character design from a story I plan to do at some point.

The original idea was to create someone who appeared laid-back and easy-going, wearing casual clothes, but at the same time, someone who could not be perceived as entirely transparent.

I wanted this to be reflected in his dressing style, that's why he wears a hooded jacket, to show that ambiguity, along with an eye patch behind his glasses.

After the sketch is done, I color it using different shades of blue, green and gray. Then, I add a little bit of stubble and dark circles under his visible eye to make him look tired.

Once it's done, I create a new layer in which I apply shades and lights.
