Greetings to all Hiver friends, How are you doing? I going to share with you today my latest acrylic painting entitled "Autumn Morning Landscape" This piece of art was inspired by one of my mentors Bob Ross. The method that I apply to this artwork is his technique how to achieve lovely scenery.
I used six colors of acrylic paint and four types of painting brushes. It took me almost an hour to finish this painting.
Materials Needed:
👉 Acrylic paper pad
👉 Pencil and eraser
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin
Brushes:
👉 Liner brush
👉 Filbert brush
👉 Flat brush
👉 Fan brush
Acrylic Paint:
👉 Titanium white
👉 Blue
👉 Mars black
👉 Yellow ochre
👉 Lemon yellow
👉 Orange
Painting Procedures
Background:
Sky:Titanium white, and blue.
Brush: Flat brush
The distant trees are less in detail, just an indication that there are trees in the background.
Middle ground:
Trees: Yellow, yellow ochre, orange and white.
Brush: Filbert brush
You can notice there are green colors in the middle ground. It is the result when blue and yellow are combined.
Foreground:
Closer Trees: Orange, black, yellow ochre, yellow and white.
Brush: Filbert brush
I used a fan brush in creating grass on the Landscape.
Water: blue, white, black
I put water reflections on the water to add beauty and depth.
For the last detail, I used a liner brush for the waterline, twigs, tree limbs and also bushes.
