Art Journal: "Sunset Serenity By The Sea" | Coffee Painting β˜•πŸ–ŒοΈ

in Sketchbook β€’ last month (edited)

Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful day to everyone. Let me share with you my latest coffee art. I created a lovely sea sunset, by way of appreciating the breathtaking beauty of nature.

Witnessing "Sunset Serenity by the Sea" captures a sense of restfulness and calmness, the setting sun at the seaside, describes the beauty and tranquil atmosphere that can be experienced while witnessing the sunset by the sea. just imagine yourself standing on a beach, you can't help but be enthralled by the spectacular beauty of nature's display. It's a moment of tranquility, where stress and worries melt away, and you can fully immerse yourself in the quietness of the scene.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me almost an hour to finish this piece. For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
πŸ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder
πŸ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin or paper towel

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Painting Process:

This is the finished artwork of "Sunset Serenity by the Sea" with a coffee painting.
