Hello hivers from all over the world. I hope you are well and full of energy. Today I present to you the first painting of the Bold Cats series. I was a little late with this work and I finally finished its realization. I loved the result, something that I thought was not going to happen. And well, without further delay, here comes this little piece of art.
Hola hivers de todo el mundo. Espero que estén bien y llenos de energía. Hoy les presento el primer cuadro de la serie Gatos Atrevidos. Me retrasé un poco con esta obra y al fin culmino su realización. Amé el resultado, algo que pensé que no iba a suceder. Y bien, sin más retrasos, aquí les llega este pedacito de arte.
About the work
I started working with this image because of its uniqueness. I had to fill a wall in my art gallery and around here it is customary to recreate famous or highly esteemed paintings in our style. So I took this work and centered it to my mediums and brushes. I chose it mainly because of the harmony between the reddish and orange tones, the look and the hair, striking and intense.
Acerca de la obra
Comencé a trabajar con esta imagen por su singularidad. Tenía que llenar una pared en mi galería de arte y por acá se acostumbra a recrear a nuestro estilo pinturas famosas o de gran estima. Entonces tomé esta obra y la centré a mis medios y pinceles. La escogí principalmente por la armonía entre los tonos rojizos y naranjas, la mirada y el cabello, impactantes e intensos.
Process
I started by giving the general base an even color, then I went through the details, in parts, from the cat to finishing with the face. I did a lot of detail on the coat and hair.
Proceso
Comencé dando la base general un color parejo, luego fuí a por los detalles, por partes, desde el gato hasta terminar con el rostro. Detallé mucho el abrigo y el cabello.
About my technique
I have always told them about my techniques and way of proceeding. I used the same one here, cardboard cutout. I take paint to create textures by dragging it, and paper to embed reliefs. With brushstrokes only to define transition of tones and give base colors.

Siempre les he hablado de mis técnicas y manera de proceder. Utilicé la misma aquí, recorte de cartones. Tomo la pintura para crear texturas al arrastrar este, y papel para incrustar relieves. Con pinceladas sólo para definir transición d tonos y dar colores bases.
Materials and media
I always use acrylics, with this work I used newspapers in the background of the painting, since it was in collaboration with another artist. Brushes for watercolors, oils, fork and other mediums for textures.

Siempre utilizo acrílicos, con este trabajo utilicé periódicos al fondo del cuadro, ya que fué en colaboración con otro artista. Pinceles para acuarelas, óleos, tenedor y otros medios para texturas.
