A few days ago I was making the "Story Board" in pencil for a short film that I will publish in a few months, where I presented the protagonist of the project prostrating his arms on the door of his car.
I liked that little shot so much that I decided to redraw it on my pc, correcting details and modifying the car, and then adding color to it, so I could share it here with you.
I loved the final result and I hope you like it as much as I do, so, without further ado I present to you: "The Tired Look Runner".

Step by Step:
First of all, I made a rustic sketch of the character and his car. Then, I defined details in the face and vehicle, defining more in detail the illustration.

Having the structure ready, I decided to focus first on making the "Line Art" of the car, adding all the details I wanted and leaving it ready for coloring. In the coloring, I decided to use well marked shadows and play a lot with the lighting.
I was interested in a sunset behind our protagonist, so I worked in this way the shadows and lighting. I also decided to use a purple tone to evoke the feeling of sunset that I wanted to present.

Having completed the total coloring of the vehicle, I decided to start with the final "Line Art" of our protagonist, respecting his position behind the pilot's door. I wanted our protagonist to have a lot of shadows on his face, clothes and hair, so, respecting the color palette, I tried to emphasize it.

Then, having finished the coloring of both, I decided to put them together on the same canvas to be able to observe the final result. Finally, I added a blurred sunset in the background and placed my signature on the upper part of the drawing, thus finishing the illustration.

And with this, I will end today's post. Without a doubt, I had never colored and polished in an illustration any of my rustic sketches of my "Story Boards", so drawing it was a very pleasant and beautiful experience, which I hope to repeat in the future. I hope you liked it as much as I did, and I ask you to please remember to drink lots of water and keep happy, big hugs!
Thank you so much!
