Greetings to all, today I continue with the series of dragons, a series of illustrations that shows different types of dragons with their little information and their step by step, this time we go with a dragon that lives in caverns, tunnels far from humanity but still thus it does not stop being a feared dragon, the blind dragon known as the cavern lamp
This dragon, a descendant of the dragons of the air, went into dark areas trying to take refuge from an ice age millennia ago, in doing so, it quickly adapted to this new habitat where the light is almost zero, so it evolved into a dragon without eyes but highly evolved in its other senses capable of feeling changes in temperature, listening to the breathing of the smallest beings in the cave and thus hunting them, it is called the cave lamp because it has in what in other times were horns luminous appendages that attract to its prey and thus makes the house easier, this dragon does not fly but if it glides and is extremely agile despite not being able to see, also known pale without scales is one of the beasts that adventurers in search of treasures fear since There are possibilities that these dragons are in the cave they visit, they generally live long lives in small clans which are called covenants and you cannot differentiate between the male and the female
Well now the step by step, of this dragon that for now is one of my favorites even though its design is simpler than the others, first the sketch then the line work and finally the color that in this case was basic since I wanted to give that look of nocturnal cave animals
