Happy day to my fellow artists in #sketchbook and #hive; I hope today is a good one for everyone and that you create great artwork for the community. Here, I’m sharing a piece where I really loved both the concept and the result: a dimensional entity that observes—a giant, pale, slightly bluish being with a large eye in the center of its belly. Now, I’ll show you how I created it.
And that wraps up my post for earlier today on the blockchain; I hope you enjoy this illustration I’m sharing here as much as I do. See you soon with more.
that giant eye right on the belly gives the whole entity such an unsettling vibe. I like how the pale blue tones turned out on the skin
thanks soon more :D
The process shots are the best part here, watching that belly eye take shape makes the whole thing feel like it really is observing you.
Putting the eye in the belly instead of the head is what makes it unsettling, since the creature reads as watching you from its center of gravity.
