Major Updates: Switching to Google & Starting Issue 3!

in Sketchbook21 days ago

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I know it's been a while, but I've been busy behind the scenes working on my Google Site. I decided to make the switch from Hopps because I wasn't happy with its interface—it was difficult to customize and add images. I've heard Google Sites has a much better interface, so I'm excited to use it to build my home for all my work. My new site isn't live for the public yet, but it will be soon!

I've also just started working on Issue 3 of my comic series, Silent Hawk! It's a huge step forward for the story, and I can't wait to share it with you all on my new site.

After a long session of work, I decided to do a quick piece on my phone because my laptop was getting low on power and there was no electricity to charge it. I worked on it using Sketchbook. I only used the Dream Brush and Air Brush to create it.

Here's a quick breakdown of my process:

  • First, I painted the black figure.
  • Then I added the striking red monstrous eyes.
  • Next, I added the strange muscle details and some highlights to make the figure stand out.
  • Finally, I used a synthetic brush for the outer, cloud-like addition and added a background.
