New illustration... and done at the speed of the stressed out artist who has one day to finish a painting of which she does not have much experience. For the vast majority who have worked on backgrounds and landscapes you will know that perspective (along with composition) is one of the most difficult things to master in any work.
Here I will show a part of my inexperience, one of my biggest complication of the paintings... and why would I show it then? Well the end was not so bad, a union of illustration and graphic design... here is my CRM (Crew resources management) infographic.
Nueva ilustración… y hecho a la rapidez del artista estresado que tiene un día en terminar una pintura del cual no tiene mucha experiencia. Para la gran mayoría que haya trabajado en fondos y paisajes sabrá que la perspectiva (junto con la composición) es una de las cosas más difíciles de dominar en todo trabajo.
Aquí mostraré una parte de mi debilidad, de mis mayores complicaciones de las pinturas… y ¿porque los enseñaría entonces? Pues el final no fue tan malo, una unión de ilustración mas diseño gráfico… aquí está mi infografía del CRM (Crew resources management).
The project was born as the elaboration of an infographic. Everyone got a different theme and mine was aviation, the love of my younger brother, Ouh Yeah.
I asked him which of all the aviation topics was the most interesting or might attract attention. It was difficult to get the topic, but after a conversation, "Crew Resource Management" or "CRM" was chosen. Summary to the interested ones: a class that is given to the pilots about the management, rules and psychological aspects to do and to take into account before, during and after the flights.
El proyecto nació como la elaboración de una infografía. Cada quien obtuvo una temática diferente y el mío fue aviación, el amor de mi hermano menor, Ouh Yeah.
Le pregunte cual de todos los temas de aviación era el más interesante o podría llamar la atención. Fue complicado conseguirlo pero al cabo de una conversación se escogió “Manejo de Recursos de Cabina” o “CRM”. Resumen a los interesados: una clase que se da a los pilotos sobre las medidas, reglas y aspectos psicológicos a hacer y tomar en cuenta antes, durante y después de los vuelos.
Proceso/Process:
Practicing with cities was a challenge I wanted to take up even though I didn't know how to elaborate, by the perspective and lack of knowledge about painting with urban themes.
Practicar con ciudades era un reto que quería tomar aunque no sabía cómo elaborar, por las perspectiva y la falta de conocimientos sobre pintura con temática urbana.
Interesting fact: Of all the airplane accidents registered every year, 80% are due to human error.
Dato de interés: De todos los accidentes aéreos que se registra cada año, el 80% son por error humano.

Oof that birds' eye kind of angle is definitely a great way to practise perspective, it's a tough one! And cities are hard to paint from that angle, can see spots you struggled a bit but you did a great job! And the plane looks really good too :)

The fun fact it was my first time making a city like it... I was a rough challenge, i hope to make a paint like it again and learn how to paint it properly x'd
